Australian Red Cedar is our most exclusive furniture timber. It is very light in weight and has a stable grain structure. It is famous for it's beautiful grain and colour.

Red Cedar had been extensively logged since early settlement and has been officially banned from any commercial logging since 1994.

All Red Cedar products today become great investment pieces.

The Australien Red Cedar was widespread from the Illawarra region in New South Wales to the McIlwraith Range on the nort-east of Cape York peninsula and grew mostly in moist rainforests on fertile soil. It is a fast-growing and handsome shade tree. In winter, its leaves turn yellow and drop but within weeks the new pink shoots appear.
