Delwynne is a professional Australian artist, tutor, judge, award winner and a past board member of the San Diego Watercolor Society.

The transparent and spontaneous nature of watercolour allows her to recreate some of the mystique and atmospheric space that reflects her Australian roots as well as her travels in many other countries.

Delwynne has loved and felt the need to paint for as long as she can remember. Raised on a farm in mid-western Victoria she made her home in subtropical Queensland and travels extensively to other countries. Much of her watercolour education was gained from leading artists in the U.S.A. where she lived for a number of years. Although she has worked in other media she feels watercolour best captures the atmospheric ambiance she seeks to express. Her paintings are a response to the mystique and rhythm of nature, the vast spaces of her childhood or the capture of a moment in some of the countries she visits.
